About Edward Shmunes
...Edward Shmunes has been photographing for twenty-eight years. During that time he has received 137 awards from among 39 international , 351 national, and 144 regional juried art exhibitions. His work is included in the permanent collection of the Columbia Museum of Art, the South Carolina State Art Collection ( 2 pieces), the South Carolina State Museum ( 2 pieces), the Southwest Texas State university Art Gallery, and the McNeese State University Works on Paper Permanent Collection, as well as numerous corporate and private collections.
